I finally got through some of the boxes that recently came in and wanted to share my reviews with you. It was fun opening all the boxes, just like Christmas. Hey, wait a minute! Wasn't I supposed to SAVE them to open for NEXT Christmas??? Oh well...so much for that. Here goes.

With this round of code purchases I learned that you can never quite judge an item by the picture in the catalog.

Sam's Bridesmaids Accessories. Something I never would have gotten but for the code. I know some of you don't particularly care for the dress, but man, you should see how big this cake is! Much bigger than I thought it would be. Its plastic but it has all the details you would expect to see on a fancy wedding cake all the way up to the bride and groom perched on top. We will have a lot of fun playing with this! And it has these dainty charms on ribbons and a nice looking mirror and brush set. $8 plus shipping after the code. I give it an A+ (with code).

HSH outfits (Gym Class, Picture Day, Art class). I bought these three outfits for our lone Hallie. Again, I probably wouldn't have bothered to buy them if there was no code, especially since I am not sure how long my daughters will play with her. But when I opened up the colorful HSH boxes that contained these outfits, there was a lot of oohing and ahing in our house (everyone except my dear husband, who just gave us this irritated look). These are not just outfits, these are ensembles. From the hat all the way down to the boots, these ensmbles have it all. Very detailed, high quality stitching and gorgeous variety in fabrics. The one secret I will tell you about these outfits is that the catalog does not photograph the true colors at all. The fuchsias and lime greens are so much more subtle when you have the real thing in front of you. The color combinations are hands down brilliant. Whoever designed this line for AG has lots and lots and lots of style. A+++ (with code).

HSH Hair Care Kit. Okay, okay it was eight dollars and I was getting a little code crazy so I went ahead and ordered this. Its on page 54 of the current catalog. Even though its a deal don't waste your money. The brush is so small it will never really get used and although the bag is cute, its not necessary and just takes up room. I give it a C (for cute, but unnecessary).

HSH doll stand. At regular price this is $15 and I'm amazed that AG sells even one of these at that price. Its a nice wooden base painted the lavender color scheme of HSH but its not anything special. Even at the code price it didn't do anything for me. I give it a D (ouch! Okay, C then!).

Kit's beret/mittens. Get this while you can still use the code. Very high quality, totally authentic and real looking. Even a human being would want to wear these if they could be stretched out a bit. A.

Ribbons and shoes/socks set for Josefina. Great deal with the code and heavy duty socks. The shoes were okay, sort of looked a bit like mocassins. Nothing to go crazy over, I'm sure there are plenty of non AG items like these and better that would work perfectly fine with Josie. B.

AGT Floral bedding set and sleepover kit. Wow, its really nice! And I thought I was just helping AG unload some of their excess inventory. The bedding set is pretty substantial and the sleepover kit (bag with toiletries) is too cute. I think I got this on the sale page but I haven't seen it up recently so if you didn't get it already, you may have missed your chance. A+.

One more thing I wanted to mention about Samantha's bridesmaid accessories. E just told me that her friend has a similar wedding cake for her Barbie (!!!). Now there is NO way that Barbie could ever score a mega wedding cake like this one, but purists beware.
